John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods has reached an official agreement with the City of Dunwoody on being the city's development partner on "Project Renaissance." The combined 35-acres off Chamblee Dunwoody Road that have sat fallow for years will be transformed into a large mixed-use development with parks, housing and retail. In the end, Wieland will purchase approximately half of the property already assembled by the city to build the commercial side of the project. Once completed, the development should be a boon for Dunwoody's shabbier side. [Reporter Newspapers]
