Amid the generally lousy market of the past few years, Morningside and the Virginia Highland remained perhaps the brightest spot in the Atlanta real estate picture...which is to say that people could actually sell homes, and the specter of multiple offers on a house was not completely foreign. But perhaps things are cooling a bit, as the sellers made a $25k price reduction on this cherry 4/4 Tudor on Beech Valley Road over the weekend. With 3,164 square feet of renovated space inside good, pedigreed bones (it's advertised as a builder's home) on a nice lot, the original price of $799k didn't seem unreasonable. But apparently 40 days on the market have not yielded the traffic or offers expected and the sellers are getting proactive; kinda strange given the widely-reported scarcity of resales available. Could the media (gasp) have it wrong? $775,000 is the ask.
