For those keeping a tally of new apartments coming to Buckhead, add another 680 units. News of two new apartment developments coming to Terminus and a parcel near Phipps Plaza came in a pair of stories in the Atlanta Business Chronicle last week. As we detailed in May, the visible construction of three high rise multifamily buildings in Midtown obscured the apartment boom in Buckhead for a time...but no longer. The densification of Buckhead will be interesting to watch to say the least; as noted earlier in the week, residential development seems to be encouraging commercial and hospitality development as well.
