White Flight, Reversed

The well-documented flight of Caucasians from the city limits to the suburbs of Atlanta has defined the metro area for multiple generations. But new data cited in an interesting piece from the education blog Grading Atlanta shows that three Atlanta in-town zip codes are among those leading the nation in gains in growth in white population share. While the shift is significant for a number of reasons, its effect on the demographics of three Atlanta Public Schools is of particular interest.
