A Midtown/Ansley Townhome By Cousins Properties, Circa 1965

Those desirous of 'lock-and-leave' housing but not yet ready to experience high rise living should take note of this listing in one of Atlanta's earliest condominiumized townhome communities, Westchester Square, which a little developer called Cousins Properties built on 15th Street back in 1965. Designed to look like a series of Georgetown row houses, the 23 homes within Westchester square are all unique, and from the looks of both this unit and the other currently on the market, they were built to last. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath townhome has 2300 square feet of living space in a courtyard setting in the heart of Ansley Park near the Botanical Garden. Clearly updated by its current owners, all of the modern luxury details are there, including the first bidet we've seen in a while. The sellers bought the place for $475k in 2009, and though they likely put some money into renovations, it's difficult to see them getting the $695,000 asking price.
