The effort to revamp the Bobby Jones Golf Course and the entire Memorial Park complex moved forward last week as a first draft of a master plan was presented by the Bobby Jones Golf Course & Park Conservancy. In looking to add a practice range and restore local watersheds to prevent the flooding that is so endemic to the area, taking the course from 18-holes to a reversible 9-hole track is on the table. Either way, the project is in capable hands...one of Jack Nicklaus's former golf course design colleagues and an HGOR Principal are working on it pro bono. [Buckhead View]
