A Preview of What's To Come on the SW Side of the BeltLine

We'll send you into the weekend with another dose of interesting BeltLine content. As part of their efforts to promote the positive effects the passage of T-SPLOST would have on moving the BeltLine along, the BeltLine blog published a great post explaining how modern streetcar or light rail transit on the southwest side of town would- traveling on existing, abandoned rail corridor- link multiple residential neighborhoods like West End and Westview with key shopping amenities, BeltLine trails and the Gordon White Park, to name just a few. While the BeltLine's future doesn't necessarily depend on the passage of T-SPLOST, it's difficult to argue how important both the funds and message that would delivered by a "Yes" win are to the BeltLine's mission.
