Hometown inventor of the chicken sandwich Chick Fil A was just beginning to make inroads into the Windy City. But after first sparking action in Boston, their controversial stance on gay marriage has now provoked the ire of a Chicago Alderman, who has vowed to keep them out of his part of town, and his stance is supported by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. The specter of a "Chicago Politician" unilaterally keeping a business out of his ward has ratcheted up the rhetoric on both sides, with some (like gay rights supporters) supporting the move and others questioning its Constitutionality.
