It's been a few months since we've heard anything about Aerotropolis, Jacoby Development's redevelopment of the former Ford assembly plant in Hapeville. But today it's being reported that Porsche has closed on the 26-acre parcel within Aerotropolis where it will build its new North American HQ and a test track (a rendering of the facility is shown above). We'd have to imagine that the $34.3 million cash infusion Jacoby just received from the sale will help move things along on the overall redevelopment of the site. [Atlanta Business Chronicle]
