As money pours into the coffers of the City of Atlanta from the greatly stepped-up parking enforcement regime fronted by PARKAtlanta, the natives are getting angry. And somewhat surprisingly, the Atlanta medias are stepping in to help the citizenry take their beefs to their elected officials. Citing reports of vague signage, overly-aggressive enforcement and other chicanery, 11 Alive has now joined the AJC in digging into possible abuses by PARKAtlanta and posing tough questions for the City. Not sure where this random burst of populist editorial philosophy is coming from, but it's not unwelcome. Thanks corporate media overlords! [AJC | 11Alive.com]
