Now that Brookhaven is incorporated, there's much work to be done. And a commission appointed by Governor Nathan Deal will steer the organization of the nascent town in the coming weeks or months. Amid the fallout of the vote (in which Brookhaven "Yes" voters prevailed by a margin of 55% to 45%), various factions are jockeying for influence in how the new town is set up, including groups that opposed incorporation.
