Movie Making News

The film studio that occupies the former Lakewood Fairgrounds is getting a $500,000 cash infusion from the Metropolitan Parkway TAD, courtesy of Invest Atlanta, that'll go toward construction of two new sound stages. Beside strengthening Atlanta's reputation as a movie making hotspot, the project's good news for jobs: 150 people are needed for construction, and eventually it'll house 607 full and part-time workers.
