ATL's Priciest Home Still Could Be Yours!

New, 2 comments

Update: Our earlier reading of a Zillow listing was incorrect, and Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty informs us this property at 490 W. Paces Ferry Road is very much still on the market. And listed at $19.9 million.

Despite a whopping $2.6 million pricechop in September, Atlanta's most expensive home has again failed to sell — and was yanked off the market a few days ago. The spotlight of Hollywood and reality television has apparently done little to remove this $19.9 million canker sore from the portfolio of its owner, "Big Poppa" — the incognito former love interest of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak. You may recognize this 40,000 square-foot behemoth with 16 (!) fireplaces from: the latest "Three Stooges" movie, its role as Bill Murray's home in "Zombieland" or episodes of "MTV's Teen Cribs" or HGTV's "Million Dollar Rooms." Inside, there's an in-house hair and nail salon, basketball court, plush movie theater, seven kitchens and 11 bathrooms. This time around, it's been listed for nearly two years. The purchasing price in 2004 was $2.7 million, and the ask has shot as high as $25 million. It's about half the size of an average Walmart. · 490 W Paces Ferry Rd NW [Zillow]
