Perched above the din that is Buckhead Atlanta's rising, we find this 19th-floor unit with stellar views that stretch from Stone Mountain, to Midtown and back to Buckhead. This two-bedroom, two-bath corner unit is the largest of its kind (1,429 square feet) at Novare's "Eclipse" tower on Pharr Road, and it serves as a prime example of the type of property rendered affordable by overbuilding and economic collapse. The unit, listed at $274,900, sold for nearly twice that much in 2005, a year after the building was finished. Buyers will have to find the bare-concrete aesthetic palatable, and the layout appears unique, with a long "art wall and cut-out display cases" lining the entryway. Unlike some Midtown properties we've seen priced at roughly twice this amount, there's a bona fide dining area, and two large balconies — all the better for absorbing those views.
