DECATUR — Now that bone-chilling 50-degree days have befallen us, Decatur will move its festival scene into the temperate confines of the Courtyard Marriott (130 Clairemont Ave), the site of the fifth annual Decatur Old House Fair on Feb. 2. Expect seminars, exhibits and workshops for old-house aficionados. Tickets are $10. [Patch]

BUCKHEAD Believe it or not, Buckhead turns 175 in a few weeks, and the community's namesake heritage society and business association are throwing a shindig to commemorate. The party happens at 7 p.m. on March 1 at the Buckhead Theatre, and historic photos of Buckhead are encouraged. Tickets for non-members of either group are a cool $175. [BuckheadView]
