After a sizzling 2011, demand for space within Atlanta's most iconic edifices took a nosedive last year, outpaced by suburban buildings, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The dip in office absorption in 2012 fell to about 500,000 square feet, or roughly half the previous year. A review included towers 400,000 square feet or larger, built or renovated since 1985, and which occupy a high-profile location or boast a well-known tenant or landmark design. [ABC]
