Potential Rescues

Don't throw in the towel just yet on the decaying John B. Gordon grammar school building in East Atlanta Village. A development firm called CrowdVested, which is experimenting with a crowdsourcing model, is in talks with Paces Properties to help raise capital to resuscitate the circa-1909 school, Bisnow reports. Long held by the notorious do-nothings at Inman Park Properties, the school closed in 1995, and plans to convert it to lofts have languished forever. [Bisnow; Abandoned Atlanta]
