Just when it seemed safe to commute at dawn and dusk, WSB-TV reports that four deer-related, traffic-snarling accidents happened on Monday morning alone. The uptick in deer-verus-car collisions isn't exclusively a suburban or rural concern, as evidenced by one young buck's demise near Vinings. About half of Georgia's 50,000 (!) annual deer-whackings happen between now and year's end. [WSB-TV]
