Plant Life

New, 1 comment

The 167-acre former General Motors plant in Doraville is showing signs of a potential rebirth. Developer Egbert Perry, CEO of The Integral Group LLC, has inked an agreement with GM for an "extended due diligence period" that essentially allows his group to determine how polluted the $60 million property is before buying it. The well-connected site has MARTA rail access and links to Interstate 285, Buford Highway and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, but is it too far from the center of Atlanta to really fly?
