For $1.2M, Mediterranean Cool Is Yours In Ansley Park

New, 3 comments

Here's a classic Mediterranean abode that recalls the hills of Los Angeles more than intown Atlanta. But this well-maintained 1920 relic is indeed tucked in Ansley Park, priced at just shy of $1.2 million. By and large, it's a restrained and graceful place with details that are either elegant or antiquated, depending on your taste. The rooms are vast, the hardwoods resuscitated, and by God if there aren't five sets of French doors! The overall space is hardly skimpy at 3,264 square feet, with four bedrooms and plenty of outdoor habitats to soak in a cool autumn night. But the highlight might be the tucked-away carriage house — if only for the cool factor of saying to guests, "Tonight, you shall slumber in the carriage house."
