The Saporta Report offers interesting perspectives on the Great Braves Exodus of 2017. One viewpoint is that of Egbert Perry, Integral Group CEO, who says the Braves never approached him about building on his property — the 167-acre, MARTA-connected site of Doraville's former General Motors plant. Elsewhere, an SR writer tries to dispel the notion that the Braves' Cobb stadium will have a built-in traffic problem: "In reality," writes David Pendered, "the Cobb site … is alongside Gov. Nathan Deal's major highway initiative. It's in the middle of a grid of big roads served by three interstate highways. And it's about a mile from the transfer station of Cobb's bus system and its linkage to MARTA." [Saporta Report]
