As part of ongoing efforts to change the perception and plight of the Boulevard area, the Old Fourth Ward will welcome its first off-leash dog park this Saturday. District 2 City Councilmember Kwanza Hall will host a ribbon-cutting for the new Renaissance Park Dog Park on Piedmont Ave., which will feature "Year Of Boulevard" doggie swag and treats. On Jan. 6, Hall plans to launch the 2014 YOB initiative.
