In Midtown business news, a company founded by Bill Gates called Cascade Investment Group just bought Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta because they see great potential in our fair city. Host Hotels & Resorts sold the hotel for $62 million — and they threw in the building's 99,000 square-feet of office space. A Cascade executive told Bisnow the move boiled down to buying a "spectacular landmark property hotel in one of the strongest growth markets in the US." [Bisnow]
