While it could be a while before ground breaks, an Atlanta developer is pitching a valuable plot at 12th and West Peachtree where he envisions Midtown's first new office tower rising since the mid-2000s, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The site sits just north of the recently completed 23-story SkyHouse Midtown apartments. Opines said developer: "It's nice to be truly talking about going vertical with an office building in Midtown for the first time in about six years." [ABC]
