Thanks to a sluggish economic recovery, Atlanta is approaching a new record that should disappoint skyline zealots — a drought of five years without a new office tower. The 20-story Phipps Tower was the city's last completed 300,000-square-foot-or-more edifice in 2010. Sadly, there hasn't been a gap like this since the early 90s. [Atlanta Business Chronicle]
