A renovation and brand-switch is in store for the nine-story Atlanta Marriott Downtown, where Elvis Presley, former President Richard Nixon and singer Pearl Bailey have lain their heads. As of April 1, the 320-room hotel will be renamed Double Tree by Hilton Atlanta Downtown. Trivia: It was downtown's first racially-integrated hotel. [Atlanta Journal-Constitution]
