This North ATL Mid-Century Modern Is Just Plain Killer

New, 12 comments

Off Interstate 75, in the Cherokee Forest area near Buckhead, we find this 1964 example of mid-century modern architecture that is, frankly, fantastic. This is open-floorplan living to the extreme, with pretty hardwoods throughout. Other perks: a double-sided fireplace, sunken living room, frameless glass shower, soaking tub and that private, wooden backyard. The sleek kitchen screams for dinner parties with its upscale stainless appliances and Caesarstone Quartz Countertops. If there's one knock, it's this: For $696,000, we'd like a pool or outdoor water retreat of some sort, but that's splitting hairs with a property this artfully resuscitated.
