Beltine Huzzahs

Along with write-ups from the New York Times, the Atlanta Beltline's Eastside Trail is bagging regional awards. The popular leg of the $2.8 billion redevelopment project, opened in October, has won "Land Deal of the Year" in Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2012 Best in Atlanta Real Estate Awards. The project, says the awarders, is commendable for "linking intown neighborhoods and providing an example of sustainable development and an alternative to regional sprawl." [ABC]
