Recession be damned, Buckhead's population showed signs of swelling and skewing younger in the first decade of this century, a recent analysis of Census data shows. The report says the population of Neighborhood Planning Unit-B — roughly all that which is Buckhead, east of Peachtree and Roswell roads — jumped 22.4 percent between 2000 and 2010, to more than 47,000 residents. Forty-four percent of those people were between ages 20 and 39, the report showed. [BuckheadView]
