New Office Tower Could Be In the Works for Peachtree Road

Scuttlebutt has it that a new office tower could be in the works for the 3300 block of Peachtree Road in Buckhead. Bisnow reports that an Italian credit processing company called CRIF Lending Solutions, currently housed at 280 Interstate North in Cobb County, could build the tower on an acre-ish parcel directly behind the under-construction TD AmeriTrade building (pictured above). That 16,500 square foot, contemporary two-level building is expected to deliver in June, with a mix of office and retail space.

At 150,000 square feet, the development wouldn't be a skyline-altering behemoth, but it could signal that Atlanta's embattled highrise office market is continuing to recover. CRIF occupies only about 15,000 square feet at its current Cobb County home. Reached by Bisnow, a CRIF company official declined to elaborate about how much space the company's domestic offices could consume in the hypothetical new tower.
