Neighborly Squabbles

New, 2 comments

Neighbors battling a church expansion in Buckhead Forest have pulled the "We belong on the National Register of Historic Places" card. Their filing for the historic designation is an attempt to railroad Peachtree Road United Methodist Church's ambitions to build a 50,000 square-foot, three-story youth center. The huge church would demolish two old homes it already owns to add the center, much to the chagrin of Buckhead Forest leaders. [Reporter Newspapers]
