'California Contemporary' In Buckhead Exudes Clean Lines

New, 12 comments

As a counterpoint to last week's spotlight of a rather hideous California Contemporary near Sandy Springs, we offer this dynamite example of the same unique, breezy style in Buckhead. Built in 1982 and designed by California architect Fred Briggs, this 8,250 square-foot paean to clean lines looks old but not tired. The ask is $3 million, reflecting the quality craftsmanship and choice location (basically around the corner from the Governor's Mansion.) The flow, as the broker points out, is a highlight here, as are the commercial-grade kitchen, Creston home automation system and the indoor pool and fitness center. It's what the scruffy California Contemporary last week should aspire to. · 3303 Chatham Road [Estately]
