Housing Heat-Up

AJC columnist John Adams — a broker, investor and author — offers an uplifting assessment of the local housing market, noting this summer's potential to burn away the doldrums for good: "If you are one of the many homeowners who decided that you could never sell your house, today is a new day for you," he writes. "Finally, we are beginning to see some positive signs in the long-depressed Atlanta housing market." Among several reasons, Adams notes first that "the feared 'second wave' of foreclosures simply has not materialized." [AJC]
