Pot Pushback

New, 1 comment

So a pro-marijuana advocacy group called Coalition for the Abolition of Marijuana Prohibition, or CAMP, wants to assemble in Freedom Park, near the Inman Park MARTA station, this weekend for its annual festival (which happens to coincide with the lovably off-kilter Inman Park Festival). Not so fast says the city, which claims the park is for "passive use only," sparking a lawsuit (and presumably other things). What, we ask, could be more passive than the group's "Great Atlanta Pot Festival" — the least likely potential riot scene in Georgia history? [Creative Loafing]
