Hizzoner Retorts

New, 3 comments

As he's been wont to do lately, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed fired back at the hand that hit him — this time the AJC, whose April 11 story "City's job woes deeper than region's" struck Hizzoner as a divisive attempt to "undermine the city of Atlanta." He points to intown developments like Ponce City Market and regional efforts like the Port of Savannah deepening, adding, "The city is the primary economic driver not only for the metropolitan region, but the state of Georgia."
