That the Atlanta Falcons have a new downtown stadium in the pipeline is all but certain, following an 8-1 Invest Atlanta vote Thursday in favor of the $1 billion project — the stadium's last political hurdle. Invest Atlanta will issue about $200 million in bonds to finance the public contribution for the retractable-roof coliseum.
