After a five-hour meeting Tuesday, the Decatur Zoning Board of Appeals shot down all complaints filed by neighbors against a contentious mixed-use downtown development and, more to the point, its seven-story parking garage. The board's decision clears the way for Carter's 315 West Ponce project and its 235 apartments and 10,000 square feet of retail. Unless, that is, incensed residents file a lawsuit. [Decatur Patch]
