Landowners near the proposed Falcons stadium have doubled the price of some parcels in the last few months, with some approaching a steep $1.3 million per acre, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. Indications are that this new roost might benefit surrounding neighborhoods like the Dome never could. Opined veteran developer Robin Loudermilk: "It's an area that's been totally neglected, but if you look at all the green space, the proximity to downtown, the nearby colleges, and the possible connection to Interstate 285 — it lays out wonderfully for an expansive redevelopment effort."
