11Alive reports that Norfolk Southern has served the Georgia Department of Transportation a crap sandwich regarding the proposed multi-modal passenger terminal in "The Gulch." After GDOT's spent millions to study the site, Norfolk Southern, who owns the land and train tracks, says there's not enough right-of-way to add passenger rail service. GDOT's optimistic that passenger rail — a vital element — could still be an option. [11Alive]
