The Reporter Newspapers crew put boots on the ground and discovered that Buckhead nightlife is undergoing a resurgence, albeit more restrained than the district's raucous heyday when 100 bars and restaurants crowded a two and 1/2-block radius: "It's not quite the Mardi Gras atmosphere that dominated Buckhead Village in the late 1990s, but a quick look around is all it takes to see that the occasional pronouncements of the death of Buckhead nightlife were premature."
