On the hot topic of mixed-use development near MARTA hubs, the Decatur Planning Commission was expected to decide this week whether to rezone a parking lot near the Avondale Marta Station to allow more than 500 residential units. Thus far, no developer has stepped forward with interest in building out the 7.6-acre site. City officials simply want their ducks in a row should one come around. [Decatur Patch]
