Downtown Art Injection

New, 5 comments

On Monday, the Atlanta City Council approved up to $750,000 to fund a new downtown art gallery in the former headquarters of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The gallery would consume the ground floor of the 1972 building and attract attention via a huge lime-green column running all eight stories. Officials hope the art injection will spur economic development. [Creative Loafing]
