Buckhead Condo Maximizes Funky, Industrial Vibe

New, 2 comments

It's rare that reclaimed barn wood makes an appearance in Atlanta condos, but a huge horse panting serving as a dividing wall isn't exactly commonplace, either. Both of which are all good here. This two-bedroom, two-bath corner unit at the Mathieson Exchange Lofts in Buckhead capitalizes on funky cool surprises (see the row of mounted mini-skulls). The 95-unit building opened in 2000, and includes a rooftop terrace and cabana-girded pool. For $389,000, this unit has much to admire beyond the barn wood: soaring 13-foot ceilings, scruffily wonderful hardwoods, a beautiful custom backsplash, Buckhead skyline views and Palladium windows. At 1,358 square feet, it's not huge, but the space is utilized well, for buyers who fancy the exposed ducts and cement ceiling aesthetic.
