Flipped Peachtree Heights Tudor Asks $1.2 Million

New, 1 comment

The agent's summary assures us this rehabbed, 1940 Tudor is "one of the most admired properties in the sought-after Duck Pond neighborhood" of Peachtree Heights. In a neighborhood dotted with relics from architectural giants like Shutze and Reid, that could be an overstatement, but this 3,300 square-foot beauty looks like a top-notch renovation that doesn't squander historical charm. On a woodsy lot, and with private outdoor spaces aplenty, the four-bedroom home begs for a "refuge" description. (Further proof: the outdoor shower). Inside, the airy rooms and large banks of windows summon natural light in the way the kitchen/living-room corridor beckons house parties. A few years ago, the home was stripped down to exterior walls, and a second story was added. Those efforts should pay off — but whether it's to the tune of the nearly $1.2 million ask remains to be seen. With Buckhead's heated market, probably so.
