Downtown Media Move

We barely touched this last week, but it could be an important bit of news: Creative Loafing announced it will vacate its Atlantic Station digs (where the walls reverberate with Toby Keith ballads) for office space in the heart of downtown. In leasing space at the M. Rich Building — the circa-1880 precursor to Rich's department store — CL joins fellow creatives C4 Atlanta, a nonprofit that helps artists, and the arts collective Eyedrum. In light of the AJC vacating the premises several years ago, what positives do you see coming of a regenerated media presence downtown, if any? CNN doesn't count. [CL]
