Some Midtown drivers aren't so thrilled with the elimination of one westbound lane on 10th Street for the addition of Atlanta's first Cycle Track. When the lane went kaput earlier this month, it forced drivers trying to turn left onto Charles Allen Drive to wait for an opening in oncoming traffic — sometimes backing up motorist behind them to Monroe Drive, sometimes for several minutes. To quote one Patch commenter: "Leave it to Atlanta to get it wrong here. I just have to wonder who is responsible for this shortsighted decision." [Midtown Patch]
