Here's something you don't see every day in Atlanta: A parking deck demolished in favor of public gathering space. But that's just what's happening across the street from the Gold Dome, where the state is spending more than $3 million to demolish a gnarly old parking deck and build a plaza big enough to host thousands of angry protestors.
