Aw, scheiße! Porsche Cars North America is finally beginning site work at its new $100 million headquarters near the Atlanta airport, after more than a year stuck in neutral. Officials blame the delays on the long processes of choosing a contractor and environmental remediation; the HQ opening has been pushed back from this year to late next. Once open, the campus will offer a 1.6-mile test track and road course for customers — and a visual upgrade for incoming flyers who now peer down on the abandoned Ford site.
