For urbanist dorks like us, Creative Loafing has compiled a can't-miss Q&A with Atlanta Beltline Inc. CEO Paul Moriss, a "city boy" by heart who shocks people by saying he likes Atlanta. In short, Moriss is bullish on Beltline public transit; he recognizes the uniqueness of the project on a national basis; and he's adamant the southwest leg will be the next major segment to be built. Food for thought abounds, but our favorite passage is this: "For me, there's this interesting thing that happens when a city becomes possessed by its residents, as opposed to just occupied ... (In Atlanta) that has been really encouraging to see." [CL]
