The Saporta Report has penned a paean to the ingenuity of Historic Fourth Ward Park, which was honored last week with Urban Land Institute Atlanta's prestigious "Project of the Year" award. "The development of (the park) turned a serious flooding problem into a beautiful amenity next to the Atlanta Beltline," Saporta writes. "The area had been made up of acres and acres of surface parking lots that (flooded) into the basement of the old City Hall East, making that building almost impossible to redevelop." [Saporta Report]
